About the prints, ordering, delivery and the shop.
Are the photographs original?
They are modern prints made in our workshop from the inter-negatives of the original glass plates found in 1982. Each is stamped and numbered. Original period prints from our stock are sold separately on enquiry.
What sizes and papers do you offer?
Four paper sizes from 24 × 30 cm to 50 × 70 cm, on archival matte cotton paper or baryta fibre paper. Custom sizes on request.
Can I have it framed?
Yes, in dark wood, natural oak or black, made in Cairo. Framed prints are delivered within Egypt only; abroad we ship unframed in a rigid tube.
How long does it take?
Prints are made to order in 5–7 days, framed in 7–10. Books and gifts ship within 24 hours.
Do you deliver outside Cairo and abroad?
Yes. Governorates in 3–6 days, worldwide by DHL with tracking. Duties and taxes abroad are paid by the recipient.
How can I pay?
Cards, Fawry, InstaPay, and cash on delivery for books and gifts in Greater Cairo. International cards and PayPal for orders abroad.
Can I return an item?
Unframed prints and unused items within 14 days. Framed and custom prints are made for you and cannot be returned unless damaged.
Where is the shop?
36 Abdel Khalek Tharwat Street, first floor, Downtown Cairo. A small sign at the entrance of the building; take the stairs.
